Motherhood & Nutrition: a Teach-In with Coord Health

Saturday, September 26, 11 AM
Cost: $10

Join Mae Reilly, MS, RD, LDN from the Coord Health team for a casual, come-as-you-are conversation about nutrition and motherhood.Whether you’re pregnant, postpartum, or years into raising kids, feeding yourself and your family can start to feel like one more thing on an endless list — and it’s easy to get caught up in “shoulds,” diet noise, or worrying about body image along the way. This session is meant to be a reset: a supportive space to talk honestly about what nourishing yourself and your family actually looks like in the middle of real, busy life.

We’ll spend part of our time together on practical tips and strategies — simple, sustainable ways to think about meals, snacks, and feeding a family without needing a total overhaul or a perfect plan. And we’ll spend part of our time in open sharing and Q&A, so you can bring your own questions, challenges, and experiences to the conversation.

This isn’t about rules, restriction, or getting it “right.” It’s about finding an approach to nutrition that feels doable, flexible, and kind — to you and to the people you’re feeding.

Come with your questions, your snack-time struggles, or just your curiosity. All are welcome.

Keeping Pace is excited to welcome back Music & Movement Class Inspired by Miss Rachel! This music and movement class, provided by Piece of Cake Parties, is inspired by the style and structure of Ms. Rachel’s popular children’s songs. Each class begins with familiar favorites, including the beloved “Surprise Box,” creating a predictable and comforting routine for little ones. Think of it like circle time at preschool — we sit together in a circle, sing along, practice hand motions, and move our bodies to the music.
.
The first 30 minutes focus on interactive music and movement. The final 15 minutes allow for more personal interaction with “Ms. Rachel,” including photos and one-on-one engagement with the children.
